The serene location is splashed with flowers in rock beds, 3 playful goats, chickens, and coming in Spring of 2023 – Alpacas!

We are located 5 miles from Taylors Falls MN, which has amazing scenery and walking trails, and only 10 minutes from Lindstrom, 20 minutes from Forest Lake, 12 minutes from Osceola WI and 50 minutes from Minneapolis.

Eagle Rock is a great place to stay for an adventurous weekend, an anniversary, or just a landing spot to get away. Experience the spacious accommodations, with all the amenities of home. We personalize each room with the comforts of a high-quality bed, high thread count sheets, soft pillows, DirecTV, WiFi access, a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Each room has its own ensuite bathroom adorned with soft plush towels and complimentary custom soaps, made locally. The walking trail is just a few steps from the property to take a walk or ride your bike! We have space to park your boat, ATV, or Side-by-side to enjoy the area for fishing or trail riding. 

For the business traveler, Eagle Rock offers a peaceful, relaxing stay, away from the distractions of a busy hotel. Space to set up the laptop and use WiFi, if needed.

We are located in Shafer Township on a 27 acre hobby farm which is home to 3 Nigerian pygmy goats, 8 chickens and 3 Alpacas! Eagle Rock is just a half mile from US Highway 8, 5 miles from Taylors Falls, only 10 minutes from Lindstrom, 20 minutes from Forest Lake, 12 minutes from Osceola WI and 50 minutes from Minneapolis, St.Paul. The Swedish Immigrant walking/biking trail is adjacent to our property.

About Your Hosts

The name of our Bed & Breakfast came from the Eagle representing our Country and freedom, and Val’s passion for rocks. When visiting our home, rocks are splashed everywhere as well as eagles.

Don is a 4th Generation Chisago County resident. He enjoys woodworking, collecting old tractors and working on our hobby farm. Don is a U.S. Army Veteran and has served as a Chisago County Veterans volunteer driver.

Val was born in Minneapolis, made her way north and quickly adapted to country living. Val has a huge passion for rocks. She spends free time in her Rock shop – polishing, cutting and making something beautiful. Val also enjoy’s gardening, cooking and baking.
